Upon entering the store, I looked at puppies in the displays while both a man, who seemed to be the owner or manager, and another female employee were grooming dogs in the back. The cages all had locations throughout Southern California and first names only (i.e., Kristy, Selmar).<\/p>\n

I peeked in the back and asked the man if I could see the Pomeranian. He handed me the puppy. I asked if the puppies were rescues, and he said that they are from local breeders. I asked about a health guarantee, and he said that the puppy would be covered for 14-days for Parvovirus only. I asked about how he ensures the puppies are not from puppy mills. He said that is the reason he only works with local breeders whom he has known for 15-20 years. I asked about the price of the dog ($1,800) and financing and he said the do have financing options in place, and pointed me toward a computer area where I could apply. I then left.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
